The EXOGRID 2 utilizes SC21 Scandium Alloy which is one of the most durable and responsive alloys on the market. In the handle you'll find that the metal is trimmed into a grid-like pattern and replaced with carbon composite inserts. These inserts are several times stronger than the metal and give the bat it�s unwavering durability.
Inside the bat there is an internal carbon composite sleeve, which provides greater handle stiffness than alloy alone ever could. All of these parts are brought together using EXOGRID Bi/Fusion Process, where a combination of heat and extreme pressure bond everything into a single, solid unit.
With this model, Louisville Slugger introduced Power Disc Technology. Where two independent discs are positioned inside the barrel to allow for peak performance around the sweetspot and providing an extended hitting surface and balanced swing weight.
